In 2007 I was looking for office space in south Austin. After making several calls from For Lease signs, I had yet to get a real person on the phone or any basic information about the properties.
I wanted some basic details about the properties – how big is the space, how much is the rent and when is it available?
It seemed really simple, but it was a hassle. So, I went back to the office and wrote a prototype in a couple of hours. The next day I put a crude sign on one of my rental units. Two minutes after I drove off, a woman from San Jose, California texted into the sign. That was the birth of DriveBuy Tech.
